The Clipping Call

Very dirty play I think Franklin is coaching them to do that. That temper tantrum Franklin threw at the end of the game where he barely would even shake dooleys hand was incredible. The only thing Franklin is doing for vandy is making the rest of the sec hate them even more. If they keep being dirty I think teams will start running the score up on em

This is what Bray said.

wesrucker247Wes Rucker
Bray on pick-6 penalty: "The 1st guy came and tried to hit me. And then the 2nd guy came, and I was like, ‘Uh, no, I’ll take the penalty.'"

So Bray was not going to have any of that crap happen to him.He was going to give the shot.Good for him.

In all fairness.... bray threw a pretty dirty block in the aftermath of his pick 6. It was completely unnecessary.

This statement is total BS...I just watched it again on dvr The Vandy player was running down field turned and looked and saw Bray then turned and ran toward him like he was gonna try and hit him. Then and only then did bray go low and it wasn't at his knee's he(Bray) hit him right below the waist. After the Vandy player came at him. Not from behind.= Vandy player classless=Bray protecting himself.

The announcers said the Vandy player had a history of that. Don't know how true that is but it was a dirty play.

that guy is dirty and he was called in the Ga game for the same kind of hit.he has a history and one would think Slive would step in but Slive is too busy with Bama & LSU right now.

How bad was it? On the radio they were saying one of the dirtiest plays they have seen. Didn't show a replay at the game.

There could have been nothing else in that Vanderbilt player's mind except to try to hurt a UT football player!

The UT player was completely out of the play, and the guys attempt could have ended the UT player's career. It was malicious and I believe that #69 of Vandy should have been ejected from the game! :salute:

I saw the Tyler Bray play, the call was only blocking below the waist...Bray was just running after the player that intercepted the ball...the Vandy player was trying to get a BIG HIT on Bray....so he chipped him on the leg...but it was not at his knee...The play that everyone is talking about involved Mo Couch is the Tennessee player that was CHOP BLOCK

I hate dirty plays. But, if you do what 69 did, then I am looking for a play were he stands up a D lineman and another d lineman comes and crashes on his leg and either blows his knee out or breaks his leg in half. You deserve whatever happens when you are a dirty piece of crap. Then, others will not think about doing it in the future. Cheating dirty players should be taken out themselves. Hate me if you must.

Wasn't it a different player in the Georgia game? Thought it was the center, but I don't know for sure.

To me, that's even worse --multiple players doing this, even after one is suspended. I don't think it's coincidence.

He got up and walked away.
Vandy basicly gave away a score. Stupid penalty on their OL's part.

Yea he walked away but could have been injured bad. It was a mile away from the ball as well. That lard azz should be suspended for that bush league crap!

It's how they are coached at vandie these days. Hope the camera's running some day when another coach jacks Franklin's jaw.

I agree 100%. The two plays should not be mentioned in the same breath. Franklin teaches this BS. He is a closet Kiffen want a be. This is the NEW dirty a@@ Vandy. What is sad is that a Vol fan brought this up. Like someone posted earlier, Nashville is where that DA needs to be. Fk Vandy and feed em beans.......
