For those of you who are close to jumping off a cliff after this week, what are you gonna do when Bama beats us by 30 or more? I realize UT football is down, but i also choose to look at the facts of the situation that we are in. 46 scholarship players have left the program in a little under 3 years. (Almost unheard of). Because of this I refuse to get down on Derek Dooley and Co. because we do not have a fair standard to evaluate them on yet. If we are losing when the roster is experienced and 2 or 3 deep at each position, that is a fair time to question Dooley, but until then we need to try to remain positive as UT football fans and support this team throughout the down years. This will make the good years so much more appreciated when we start winning again. After they played the Boys of Fall video yesterday in Neyland, I could not help but say to myself that these down times will pass and we will be back before you know it. Until then, lets try to keep our heads on straight about the program. GO BIG ORANGE!!!:loco:

Amen.

Six (hopefully seven) games left.

Three in Neyland 'til the long dark winter. Enjoy even the bad games while they are here.

I agree, I have been a UT fan for my whole life, but I have just recently started going to Neyland, and I thought yesterday on the way over, that even though we are likely to lose, I am just proud that I am privileged to be able to witness some of the greatest pageantry in college football each time I get to walk through Gate 21. We will be fine.

Amen to this post. And another thing to take positive out of this. This team is taking their lumps against really good teams. Just think of what the experience of this butt whiping do when we start playing non top ranked teams in a couple of weeks. This team WILL show us something by the end of October. And it won't start with an L.
