Clay is allright sometimes. Other times he can be really obnoxious. His show is way better than the imbeciles on Plasters show.

The story came out with the Bar Knoxville thing. Hood had been on the team a while at this point. He had a lot of people go to bat for him. Including the girl. It seems he has really changed his life around. Travis knew more than he let on. He just wanted the bad.
Ok I see it's all coming together, sorry folks sometimes my mind is bout as sharp as a box of marbles lol. I'm glad hood is doing well and apart of our football team he should use that as motivation. Do your thing hood!!

I have both books, I enjoyed both of them. I bought Dixieland delight back in 2007 at the Nashville airport before I made my trip to Tampa. I like on rocky top but it was sad. I bought that book directly from clay last year

I enjoyed Dixieland Delight. I was actually disappointed with On Rocky Top. I was expecting alot more behind the scenes stuff, and it was mostly talking about how it felt to be as fan going through the 08 season. I already knew what that felt like.

So he says one thing you don't like and he's crap? Nice logic. Guess you think freedom of speech sucks too.

Easy dude. But ya sort of. I thought it was that bad. It's been hard for me to get past. Yes one thing can change most peoples opinions.
Freedom of speech, well... don't get so dramatic. Griz ask me what I thought, don't attack me. I even told why.

You like him?

Ya me too dude. When he went out by his self he became a jerk. I think Bob used to keep him in line.

I remember bob bell being on the air with boots donnley on 106.7 three years or so ago that show was ok.

Ya it was ok, But ya the 1510 stuff was good back in the day. King talked recruiting on the radio before anyone else did. King and Bell were both homers then.

I really enjoy listening to CT. 3-Hr lunch is fun and pretty entertaining. He hates Cal. Haven't read the books. The only time I've been strongly opposed to anything CT is the DHood thing. Not sure what the point was. I know the point he was making, not sure what the point of spinning it all that way was, (I'm peelt, btw)

It's sad that bob passed away not too long ago. Hearing his voice takes me back when I was a young lad. I wonder how well he would work with CT

If you were a vol you had to like Bob. Did he do some of the early pay per views for U/T maybe. Am I thinking correctly?

On Rocky Top had a few good sections sandwiched in the middle of an immature drunk fan's experience of UT football with no knowledge of the X's and O's of the game. At times he is entertaining with a point, but most of the time a disappointing representative for UT football.

he is pretty funny, very nice changeup for nashville sports radio.
Although he is a little self serving and snarky at times.
Nevertheless, a vol fan is nice to have on the radio.

How is he a representative for UT football? He is a Vandy grad who happens to be a UT fan.

He is merely an attention seeking pundit--it's his job (and his nature) to be a glamor seeking peckerhead. He is getting a good bit of attention so he must be doing his job.
I don't care for him though

He also crossed the line (imo) when he asked Tebow if he was still a virgin. That was asked at last year's media day.

By perception. Most everyone in AL associates Clay with UT. Like it or not, fans represent their team.

He's kind of pointless. Goes way overboard at times.

Agreed. He is great for radio show because he creates controversy with everything he says. But listening to him makes me think he would be douche to actually be spending time with. I imagine he is a hard man to get to know.
