2. He has the opportunity to win the job in an open competition. Competition is a good thing.

I agree…Merk is the future. Moore comes in as a quality backup. Moore’s future is in coaching

Yep. Jake has a full year in the system under his belt just like Nico did. Its Jakes time IMO. Even before the BS from Nico, everyone (AP,.Hubbs etc,) were raving about how much better Jake was now. Its in those camp threads from Fingers repeatedly.

Time for Jake. Bring back Gas Pipe as QB3. Lets ride. GO VOLS
