The call is just to easy to make

Well, I certainly hope so...but at this point, I'll believe it when I see it...and even then, it is a two-step process that UTK apparently cannot complete.

1. Fire the coach when it needs to be done and don't wait "one more year"

2. Spend the money and hire a proven commodity as HC instead of continuing to waste the money on buyouts.

The day our admin, boosters, money men, AD, etc. can all get on the same page and do all this will be the day we are all pulling the same way and can get out of this hole we have dug.
Well said.

Tho last thing we need is a search. I’d select a coach (Freeze?) and get a deal in place before parting ways. That’s what Hart did when he grabbed Barnes. The problem is that Early Signing Day is BEFORE our last game of the season. I’d personally do it after Fla beats us without mercy this weekend. Otherwise, Lewis and other blue chippers sign elsewhere. And we we will have a bunch of new coaches presiding over the inevitable.
Exactly. Most likely when looking for a coach, like last time there are only 1-2 unemployed coaches with past successe(Chip Kelley) or good ones looking to move (Mullen) and then they pick their preferred destination, which UT
May not be.
That’s what is different this time.
Freeze is a proven winner that can pick his preferred destination, and UT may well be that destination.
But UT will screw it up again

Who is Pruitt’s agent? Does he and Freeze share the same agent? I don’t see how our “expert” boosters and adminstrators don’t screw that up no matter what.

It’s clearly an analogy for Pruitt’s career. It just keeps on going long after it should have ended.
Not enough “done” usage to be Pruitt.
I thought he done pretty good though.
I wish the university would tell him that he is officially DONE at UT.

Maybe but he was the #1 overall recruit coming out of HS. As far as college goes, I think he is easily our biggest bust.
Not really, As a freshman he did some good things and he would've gotten much better if Kiffin had stayed...He was far from a bust...He wasn't here long enough to be a bust.

Might want to have another protest part 2. Might be the only was to get rid of Pruitt

Looking back over our last three head coaching hires, what exactly gives anyone on this board the impression that we can now “get it right”?

Punctuation
In his defense, I voice text a lot and my phone has inexplicably started spelling out the words period and comma instead of actually punctuating so I have gone the route of no punctuation on some of my texts. I'm going to assume that maybe he was voice texting.

That raise and extension sure is looking like a good decision, now.
What the "smart, true fans" on here have said alot tho is the extension was due to recruiting and keeping the class intact.
If true makes the extension look even worse
