I never said he was great, but if you really think we got a significant upgrade from him with Pruitt your head is buried deeper in the sand than our program currently is, and it’s not going to get better any time soon. I’m willing to bet Jarrett and Gilbert are as good as gone and likely Bailey as well. No high school football player will want to play for Tennessee after that embarrassment today and it is only going to get worse as the season goes on and more starters get banged up

They both suck and does it really matter if they come at this point? I mean seriously, we have sucked for so long it's never coming back

Yes he was. Pruitt isnot much more competent it seems, but that doesn't negate the fact that Butch was and is, an idiot salesman rather than a football coach.

Boy Butch's years were even worse than most like to admit, he left us with the worst team in UT history, today's loss to GS was on CP, but after five miserable years of boy butch, it is going to take a miracle to turn the program around. Can it be turned around? Yes. Is CP the man to do it, for me it is too early to tell. Boy butch left UT a Winner-he is still getting paid! The rest of us, not so much....

It hate to render an opinion about the team and this Gazillion dollar coaching staff before all the information is it, but it appears that we Suck! This will be very difficult to explain.......

With some seasoning under nick could UT hire butch back in a few years, at a reduced salary?

Maybe so, maybe even 20 years, but those that blame the five miserable years leading to the worst team in UT history under boy butch, would be correct when they attribute to him, a large amount of blame the year following his departure. How many seniors playing today were recruited and trained (for most of their career at UT) by boy butch? How about juniors? Sophomores? I'm betting we still have a good number of Life Champions.....just saying.

We aren't talking about the SECCG we are talking about losing to Georgia f***ing State.
