If that ends up being the case, my guess would be that perhaps Debord may not be happy with one or both of those guys and perhaps has asked Butch about bringing in his own guys? I always thought HC's prefer to hire their coordinators first, so they can shop for their own assistants.

Would make sense, because if I were in DeBord's shoes, I wouldn't want to be made the scapegoat for an underperforming unit, when I had no say in the assistants that are under me.

He doesn't need to add "I think". Ever. He posts when certain and usually very brief and informative.

I don't believe Thig is going anywhere unless it's his choice, cause he's one of our best recruiters. Plus look at what he's done with JRM. Also it looks like Kirkland it starting to hit his stride.

Also I think Coach G is safe look at how Hurd and Kamara are producing, also our RB pass block is pretty good from those two.

Strip is safe he's developing Vereen and Barnett really well and getting good production from less talented interior guys. I'm confident in his ability to develop the DL talent we brought in this year.

I would like to see upgrades at OL Coach, QB Coach, WR Coach. Ironically I actually like Coach Z seems like players love him and his recruiting is good, however our WR play should be better with our talent. I will say this our WR core is thin and running lots of plays. But still hasn't been very productive his entire time.

I stopped watching the coaches show when they monkeyed with the content/format. Not nearly enough highlights. Really enjoyed the day when we had that as the focus of the show with some preview of the coming opponent. Now it's 5 min of highlight, tons of commercials and some feel good piece ala ESPN. No interest in that. Same for Vol Calls. Cookie cutter process with no real insight into the program. Both shows are worthless in their current form.

Very much in agreement with this. I'd also like to add we need Dormady snaps that really mean something. He needs to try and run the offense....all of it. I'd also like to lend support for an immediate move of Jennings t safety. Just no reason to delay this move until next year. Do it now so he can really make an impact next season.

NO coaches at ut read volnation....period. And they definitely didn't get any ideas from any jack wagon water head redneck fans. This crap pisses me off so bad. People, please quit thinking you know bc you don't have a clue. If it (coaching) were as simple as many of you suggest then everyone would do it. Also, azzanni is the best wr coach we have EVER had. Yes, I'm serious. Don't believe me, go to a practice. Listen to him speak at a clinic. We are good with the current staff, no changes necessary!! Please all morons, don't screw this up for us true vol fans.

Who is this guy anyways? He thinks he's some sort of badass for one. He then tries to tell people how they should post and what they should say. I'm assuming from a previous exchange with him that he served in the military, which I appreciate. But that doesn't give him carte blanche to dictate as to what one says and how they say it. Dude seems like one of these jerks that believes his own hype a little too much.

I don't mean to act 'badass' or anything. Just think folks with access to inside information in the Vols program assume some level of responsibility for that access. Specifically, if they don't really intend to share information, not to hint around that they have it just to spin VolNation up; that's not much better than trolling. And if they do intend to share the information, not to tease it like a stripper, but just say it.

That's all I'm saying. I've got nothing against LWS, and don't mean to belittle him. Just letting him know that, for me personally, I'd prefer he not hint at it if he's not really gonna share it.

If that hurts some folks' feelings, I'm sorry. But I think it's the responsible way to handle the privilege of inside access.
