My hard earned money is budgeted. If I feel the product isn't good enough, then I don't spend. Instead, I watch and listen. This year, I deem the product is not worth my hard earned money. Their record is an indication that I was correct. But, I am glad you can judge me without knowing me. I'm used to it because this is Volnation.

When Martin is gone, then Hart will hire another Buzz Peterson or Wade Houston. What does it really matter? (Hillary at Bengazi)


An established good coach will not come to U.T. when he has other options. An Up and Coming good coach will not have his career de railed by coming to U.T.

We will end up with a coach who was able to make an appearance in the NCAA and is from a smaller college.

Buzz from Tulsa! Martin from Missouri Sate! etc. etc.

Will hiring a new coach really make the U.T. men's basketball program better? The right hire would make it better, but no one is really interested in the U.T. job...

Still an upgrade because Zo didn't make the NCAA at a smaller school.

We have got to start making noise. Don't let the people who say this could never happen stop you. We need to get the press involved on this, and start getting it talked about! Bruce paid for what he did and he is as good a hire as we could ever get! I believe 80% of fans would love this, we just have to shut the negative, it 'll never happen 20% up. Please if you are a student paint the rock with we want Pearl! If I was there I would. I know I don't have the answers to getting the mission going but there are many of you out there who probably have great ideas. This is our public university and we can make a difference who gets in there!

I don't know about that. The "Derek Doolander Center for Coaches Who Can't Coach Good" never opened. I don't think they've even broken ground yet.

I had dinner with Coach Pearl recently. He has already accepted the coach in waiting job at Duke. Kentucky and Kansas. He isn't coming back. But he did tell me that Dooley might try his hand at basketball coaching. So there you go. The truth is out.

Bad idea to paint the rock...if ya wanna do it right stop going to home games and hit em where it hurts. To me that's the best way to send the message. If Cuonzo put a product on the floor that matched what fans desire then it would be different. Even then its hard to not wanna support this team cause these players feed off our energy 99% of the time. People who would call me fairweather have to understand that me as a fan not only invest an emotional part to the team but a financial part as well. And quiet honestly I could listen on the radio or watch a game on TV instead of paying gas, food, and ticket prices to see a poor product for 2 hrs. Rant over lol

I also agree with this as well, I just want to get the Bruce talk really fired up. Anything we can do as fans! I don't want to bash Martin so I'll just say he's not right for the job. Our man lives in Knoxville already. I liked Bruce when he was here but I can tell you I love him now that he's not here. We've seen life without Bruce and it's boring. I'm not dumb enough to think Bruce is the only one who can win here, it's just that it should be a slam dunk. The man needs a job and we should have one open!

UT is in a world of hurt if this crap keeps up. I know a family who's had season tickets since TBA opened, and they are most likely giving them up due to cost vs the reward of going. Guys, it's expensive to go to games, and people simply don't like the direction our basketball program is headed. No one who's a top donor believes in Cheek or Hart. We are all about to see the downfall of what was once a very promising program.

I get what your sayin but, I think it would be better to try to get the word out while supporting these players. They don't deserve to be abandoned. It's not there fault the coach isn't coaching. I also think a few well written emails to the AD dept wouldn't hurt either. But IMO the big boosters are the ones who need to be pushed to force the ADs hand get them in board as well.

I want Bruce back as bad as anyone.Can't go to weeknight games due to work schedule.I would hate to just not go to send them a message because my 10 year old son and I enjoy going to games together.Wish a change would be made but not sacrificing time with my son to do it that way.

If we pick up a coach from a junior high school then he will be better than what we have.

Sorry no offense but you are a fair weather fan. You would try to hurt the team to push your agenda. That is sad.
