It does. It's exactly what Bruce's team went through. I feel bad for guys who have worked hard to make the orange proud, that these things can't wait until the offseason.

With that said, fanbases always struggle with timing out of fear that their voices won't be heard. Technology breaks down that barrier now. ADs pay attention to what fanbases want (and boosters also). To argue they don't would be vastly underestimating the brand value in social media.

It should be mandated that Cheek and Hart are on twitter so they could feel the brunt of the fans rage, or bask in the accolades. That way they could have a truer guage on how the fans really feel instead of sitting in the ivory tower and just doing what they want.

Twitter might be one of the worst gauges I can think of.

Would u say 10%? 20%? Im sure theres a booster or two that wants him and keeps in touch w him.

I was bashed for saying cuonzos style of play was boring, hard to win with, and always seemed TOO calm during times he should be firey. said it was a huge mistake letting cbp go. We let em go cuz we didnt want to miss a couple of yrs from the tourney due to show cause.

So i ask you, what are the REAL odds he returns.

I know this is getting moved but I am gonna say 25%. I think Martin might be gone but only a 25% chance we hire BP back unfortunately.

odds are like 2:1 or 5:2, not 50% or 30%

just helping out.

but I'd say very unlikely. Then again we still have a coach (and who knows if he would even get fired this year if we miss the tourney (so we don't have another buyout))

0% Bruce was wrong for what he did, he is not the knight in shinning armor that everyone, or most of everyone on he thinks. CCM needs another year since recruiting in basketball is a long term commitment to the kids you are recruiting, but as we have seen in football IF YOU WANT to screw a program up keep switching coaches...recruits will run when the other coaches question if you are going to play for the coach that is recruiting you.

I would argue that getting the wrong coaches screwed up our football program

Imagine if after Fulmer we got Spurrier (or some other proven winner). Even if he stayed for only 3 years, we would not be in the situation we are in now because of Kiffin/Dooley. We would be in a position to hire another good coach who would be willing to walk into the vacancy

The fans will avoid TBA as if the plague is inside next year.
The first year it was he has to have at least two years to get his system in place, last year it was "this team is without it's best player" so he needs one more year, this year it has been "Maymon has not been the same" now you want to change the battle cry to "one more year". The time has passed to meet the grade.

The problem this year is Martin is proving he can't get it done with good players. Which negates the good recruiting. If CCM keeps scoring 41pts a game and losing in the NIT then recruits aren't going to come anyway.

What would your reaction be to seeing Bruce Pearl coach in the SEC again?

Not at Tennessee, but at one of the other schools.
