And no is saying they are, but bailing on a coach ten games into his first season is the very definition of myopic. And yes, there are a number of posters who proudly boast that Nostradamic claim because they just "knew" he'd be a flop after 10 games, and if for no other reason, because he wasn't Bruce Pearl.

Those that were willing to give him even two years to prove his worth were mindless sheep who couldn't see the forest for the trees.

Two+ seasons seems a more reasonable timeframe to admit you've been fooled.

Ten games seems ignorant and spiteful due to some misplaced anger and frustration over a previous coach's dismissal.

Chris I was against him early and then he came out with the stuff about letting the team play to show them they couldn't win doing it on their own. So I started pulling and posting for him, you even called off one of the anti Pearl people from dogging me because I was posting for him. When he came out the second year doing what he did the first year, that was when I gave up on him.

Okay. You wouldn't fit the demographic I described then. There were literally people bailing on him after the Maui tourney his first season. That's plain dumb and simple-minded. If that wasn't you, then no need to defend your stance.

Even though I thought he was a joke from day one, I gave him more than 10 games. But because it took some of you 2 + years to figure out you been had , does not mean you are better than the ones that gave him 10 games and don't make anybody more or less of a fan.

that is your opinion of what I thought and I don't have to prove to you what or when I thought it. I have had my arguments with the fighting martins for the past 2 years and you sound like you are all in still and that is fine.

i thought it was interesting that CBP didn't say he would turn down an offer from UT,seems more of adding wood to the fire,instead of pouring water on it

Unless you are going to poach Coach K from Duke, you rehire Bruce Pearl.

If Dickey were the AD, I wouldn't be worried about that move one iota. Dickey would have a leash and he would keep the NCAA out of our house.

Hambone and Hart? Well, Hart is no doubt going to screw the hire up big time.

Dave Hart has one hire at UT and that's Butch Jones. How have we decided already he's inadequate?
