really? Murder? What a sunday drama queen. More appropriate would be me not caring that you may speed, cheat on taxes, or smoke weed, because it's not a big deal in my personal opinion, because there are bigger things going on. Is that too difficult for you to grasp?
And you are the one that came in looking for a fight. You came at me and i responded. If you don't want a response, don't step up in the first place. You come in like you did, then tell me I turned it into a brawl. My first post was one sentence about people being naive about how dirty college basketball is, and I won't budge from that stance.
The rest is dramatic bs and yes, when a poster comes in with drama, it turns into something. That's on you, not me.

And for the last time, I didn't excuse him from his. He was stupid for screwing up and stupid for what followed. How the hell that means I am excusing him is beyond me. That's why some of my arguments get blown up. You want to tell me my stance, yet after multiple explanations, still don't have a ****ing clue.

I'll repeat the only point I mentioned that caused ire. If someone is that upset about a bbq after a football game, they have no idea about anything in regards to college recruiting.
Period.
The rest is whatever you want to make of it. I didn't condone it. Didn't say he did no wrong. I just don't really care. If there is a rape, murder, money involved, cocaine, meth, housing, etc, then you have my attention. A ride, a lunch, a phone call, a tweet, a facebook post, a hat, etc, mean absolutely nothing to me.
The extreme stances posters take on here causes many, many intense debates. I never take an extreme stance on any coach or player (outside of kenny hall), so I'll ask, who is causing the "brawling".

The point of the murder/DUI question was simple. If people are doing worse crimes but not getting caught, should we excuse lesser crimes for those who do get caught. That's a pretty simple question.

As for the rest of your insane post.. Thanks for proving my point. You are too emotional. If someone doesnt roll with your side of the story you cant accept it and roll with it. You can throw off on me and accuse me of that, but I don't think I'm quite in your league. You are in denial son. You need to step back from the keyboard because you are not able to handle this stuff emotionally. I've seen it a hundred times again and again. This makes 101 I guess. SMDH....

That's your opinion. You claim to want evidence yet you provide none. I get it, you love Cal and hate Pearl. If you truly believe that Pearl cheated at the level Cal does then there is no point carrying on this conversation.

As much as I love the guy and want him back, I didn't start this to be a fire Martin and hire back Pearl thread. Just love that he's passionate as a commentator and roughing up other analysts' feathers

What in the hell are you yapping about. I don't care what your side is. You care what mine is. Simple as that. Have i said your opinion is wrong? Even once?
There is no emotion in that stance. The only emotion that comes across is from frustration of trying to talk to someone that wants to be right about something so bad, they don't even know what the debate was or is.
All I said at the beginning was that if people thought a bbq was really bad, they are ignorant of how dirty college ball is. You went off on this dramatic tangent acting like I am arguing with your stance. I told you maybe we had different perspectives, yet that's not enough for you either.

I just miss the energy and excitement around the program that Pearl brought. I loved his passion.

I honestly was replying to another thread that was merged into this one, one that commented specifically about Pearl ripping another commentator on his analysis. I'm not on the fire CCM train. Just wish things had worked out differently and Pearl hadn't lied (as I know 99.99999999% of the fanbase does).

Edit-I now realize that I just replied to the person that started said thread. So, umm, yeah...
