Agreed, I really wish we had Pearl back or a Coach with that swagger back!!!

Bruce hasn't left Knoxville. He still is a Black Sheep in many Universities due to his turning over illegal recruiting methods early in his career.

I couldnt agree more. I'll draw some heat, but Martin isnt getting it done and its obvious.
I hope he comes back, UT could be vying for title right now if he stayed.

Would be vying for a title right now? Are you serious? Have you seen the lack of talent on this roster? Newsflash, Counzo has only had one full recruiting class... so who do you think is responsible for the level of talent in the program right now?

This is only of a clarification on cuonzo than support for pearl.

cuonzo has two recruiting classes on the roster. and if the talent was bad and the cupboard so bare, why is cuonzo's starting lineup predominantly the players he inherited? And why is everyone saying the season is in the crapper because Maymon is out - who is one of those bare players from the previous coach too.

Martin is starting two of his players in Richardson and Stokes (sophomore, sophomore) and the other three are Pearl players. So, only 1 more player is Pearl's than his. The other players starting are a Jr, Sr and a Jr (was a Sr until McRae started over McBee). I'd say an upperclassmen is going to have the nod over an underclassmen most of the time.

His first recruiting class was a grab because of the NCAA investigation. His second one is more disappointing because Moore and Edwards should be contributing more and they're not.

I'd also say Martin has gotten a ton more out of Maymon than Pearl ever did. Maymon looked like a bull in a china shop and out of place under Pearl.

Pearl recruited and landed top guys and would have put a solid team on that floor right now. You're nuts to think Pearl would be coaching these same guys if he stayed.

Are you satisfied with where UT is right now? Its not going to get better.

Then why is only one Pearl recruit on an NBA roster? His recruiting record had almost as many busts as it had hits.

Besides, now that Pearl's true colors have been revealed, no good recruit with better options is going to sign up to play for him anyway.

You can bash BP all you want but he got the job done better than this. I want Conzo to do well but this is a joke. His offense is pathetic and now we cant even D-up. Calls go against us he stands there like a statue.

Anyone that thinks Pearl is coming back is ignorant and doesn't know what went down with the NCAA. Wade Houston has a better chance at coming back to UT then Pearl does. Choose any other coach and he'll have a better chance at coming back than Pearl ever will again.

I will bet you anything you want that Pearl will never coach basketball at the University of Tennessee ever again.

Again, if you think otherwise, then you haven't done your homework and know what went down with the NCAA. Tell me again how many coaches have ever gone back to the school where they got a show cause. If your answer was between zero and zero then you would be correct.
