Would you be for Bruce Pearl's return if Martin is fired after next year?

Pearl is not coaching here ever again unless everyone in the AD's office dies before he does. It is not gonna happen.

If Cuonzo is lured away from TBA (for money, for the petition, whatever floats your boat) is the $5M buyout for Bruce Pearl the best money Hart could spend at this time?

Here's the rub though: paying the Auburn buyout would simultaneously be the best move the AD could make if Cuonzo finds greener pastures and also demonstrate his colossal incompetence (for those not already aware).

I think it highly likely Hart never approached BP with a "Don't be too quick to take something; you're in our thoughts. See how it plays out first." If Hart keeps his options open, if he defies Jimmy the Cheek, if he was working to advance UT athletics, it is possible we could have Bruce Pearl ready to fill the (potential) void.

Dave "sit on hands" Hart though has, once again, sat on his hands. If Cuonzo leaves, Hart has already failed (again).

This is quite possibly the dumbest effing post I have ever seen on a board anywhere in all my existence. Please crawl back in your hole and stay there.

Of course, this isn't a bad idea at all.

Do you really believe Hart will do it though?

Listen folks: WE ARE NOT KENTUCKY. We don't have to choose to pay only the football coach. Right now, I don't have a better name to coach at Tennessee than Bruce Pearl (if Cuonzo leaves). If I'm AD then, I'm looking for every way possible to make that happen.

If Hart started talking Bruce Pearl he would have a load of manure in his driveway to deal with almost as big as the stream of BBB horseshist you and a few others keep spouting. He might get a dump truck large enough to haul it away in one load.

I'm sure that Hart made it crystal clear to Pearl's people that he would not be coaching here regardless of what happened to CCM. He wouldn't have jumped on Auburn so quick if there was even a remote chance of coming back.

Hart had no options as relates to Pearl. Several people weighed in that it was never going to happen.. Not sure how Hart felt but he could not have changed it if he wanted to..
