The defense is excellent. Yeah, they may have got burnt a couple of times, but you know what, this defense played physical, and played a hell of a game. It's just when a damn defense can't get off the field and is on their longer than the offense, expect them to break down.

There is and should be not one doubt about the capabilities of the defense. I've seen people say that LSU blasted us on offense, well if Simms could hit the broadside of a barn and not under throw freaking passes, then the defense wouldn't of had to endure such adversity of be on the field more than 50 percent of the game. The offense is done unless Bray is here, bottom line. So, I say, start Nance or Worley, they are better than Simms, I can promise that.

Sorry Phil, your boy can't cut the mustard in the SEC, GET OVER IT. He had a very, very, poor ball game yesterday, and it's just not gonna cut it. So defense, start running a little more, because, your just gonna have to get used to being on the field, unless by a God given Miracle, he breaks his leg in practice or something, then, you can be a normal defense and take the field after scoring a touchdown, instead after a freaking interception.

I can't call a defense excellent when it gives up 38 points.

Now, if you said that the defense played hard and tried to be excellent, I could agree.

We all knew Matt Simms was a pretty bad QB against good teams. There's nothing new about that. That being said, I'd way rather have Simms start than Nash Nance. I don't want the staff to burn Worley's redshirt until it's an absolute necessity for them to.

You're just as delusional as the fans who called out death threats on Crompton a few years ago.

any person asking for a player on their team to get hurt is worthless and an embarrassment. You should take another look at your life if you think that's appropriate

The 99 yard drive was like 9 mins... How do you expect them to play excellent the whole game when we have no depth?? and they play a whole quarter almost..

MY POINT EXACTLY. EVERYONE WANTS TO SAY OH ITS THE DEFENSE, WELL IF I WAS ON THE FIELD FOR 9 To 10 MINS AT A TIME ON DEFENSIVE STANDS, I WOULD BE TIRED AND PRETTY PISSED AT MY OFFENSE FOR HANGING US OUT TO DRY.

You are no fan of Tenn if you are wanting one of our players to get hurt.

Let's see. On the 99 yard drive, LSU had 3rd and 7 from the 4 yard line and RAN the ball. The ball carrier broke about 6 tackles for the 1st down. If you can't stop a 3rd and 7 running play you deserve a 99 yard drive!

I don't see how you blame the opening dive of the second half on the offense. Sometimes you have to be a big boy and step up and make a play. LSU did; we didn't.
