The Boo Carter hate needs to stop.

Game Ball Today

And he promptly passed that game ball away to Beasley.

Yeah Boo is not all there as in bought in. He still likes his teammates but he’s not on the same page and the team knows it.

And that’s fine. Some situations just can’t be fixed.

I agree fans need to stop bashing him though. It doesn’t make anything better what so ever…

So shut your mouth on twitter and let the coaches handle it, you guys are evil, you want this kid to leave so bad go to the game and ask him, tell him to his face.
I doubt a fan would be able to get close enough to him to have a conversation.

Secondly, two of his teammates were so angry with him that it got physical - FACT! Media didn’t discuss it but it’s 100% true. Hopefully, he has mended the relationships as he is an asset and a young man who made poor decisions.

Third- he didn’t play well against GA- only played 29 snaps.

And he fumbled again, today. Not sure why he didn’t dive onto the ball - maybe he couldn’t.

Fans are emotional, hence their posts. Some may be trolling but most want this team to win. And, they want Boo and others to play up to their potential. He missed some plays today but had a few good series - great to see.

Heh? Beasley was the next guy being recognized, passing the ball around is what they do.

Agreed. When he got the game ball, no smile or emotion at all. Just threw it over to Beasley. Didn’t look like he appreciated it at all. Maybe it will click at some point but I’m just not sure.

Unfortunately when you threaten to hold out in the winter portal you draw unnecessary attention to yourself. Same with Matthews. People are expecting a TON out of him this season because of the back and forth that was done a day before the portal closed last December. When you go on and play more games during summer workouts you draw even more attention to yourself.

I like Boo, I want nothing but the best for him, but the criticism isn’t unwarranted. When you play negotiator you’re saying “I’m worth it, so come to terms with me”, no different than the NFL. At that point you either produce or catch the flack that comes your way.

I still don't even know exactly what happened with him?
Boo leaving campus over the summer wasn’t smart- ticked off everyone inside the program. He finally returned before fall camp or beginning of fall camp only to be met by a a couple angry players which led to a physical altercation - similar to the “infamous falling on a helmet situation” under Butch.

He’s playing now but not up to his potential, yet. Hopefully he plays better and up to his potential, though I still think he is portal bound.

People keep saying he does not look locked in on twitter, others are saying bench him... The kid is literally one of our best players on D. He will 100% be playing on Sunday if he stays out of trouble. If he gets in trouble cut him, but if you don't like him, or his so called attitude, well keep your mouth shut, let the damn coaches handle it, because we need him, end of story.
Momma Boo is this you again?

Thanks for your concern Boo but if you could kindly stop putting the ball on the ground during kick returns and stop whiffing on sacks that would be much appreciated!
He’s just trying to make a play. That’s what players do. His playmaking instincts helped him force two fumbles today IIRC. Hopefully he stops trying to force returns that aren’t there but I’d much rather have playmakers who the coaches have to tighten the reins on than the opposite. Call me crazy but I still love Boo Carter and I still think he’ll go down as the best Nickel/Star we’ve ever had.
