Hey, freak:

I was just wondering if you could give me a quick history (Brief!) of the board. When did it start, who were the whos that started it, etc.

In the beginning Freak created the volnation.com message board. But the board was dull and without posters, and idleness was upon the face of the site, so he sent an e-mail and invited folks to come and be a part of this brave new frontier. Two years later, Freak looked at what he had created and saw that it was good.

I have told the story on here before but I created volnation because I thought it would be fun for myself and some buddies to have @volnation.com email addresses. After I got that up I decided that I might as well stick up a page for the site. On August 8th, 2003 I believe it was VolNation was officially born. We had a temporary message board up for a while but once we started to get some members I decided to move to a pemanent board in October. LIO was one of the first regular posters besides people I knew or worked with. GAVol also joined close to the beginning I think. Anyway, that's the story. Now if I can just get to work on those dang t-shirts. :lol:

I forgot to mention that la was another one of the first to start posting regularly here. I am sure I am forgetting others but I remember some nights it was me, LIO, la, and NCGatorbait. We had fun though.

I was here pretty early on, too. Didn't post as much, but I have tried to show my support to a pretty dang good board. It's a tough job posting on all of the boards that I do. LOL

I remember when I stumbled on this place purely by accident. Within about an hour LIO was pissed at me because I said that CPF looked like he had gained weight . . . some things never change.

After tonight, I am changing my ways. I&#39;m not going to say a word to anybody about anything. If I don&#39;t like something, I&#39;ll just go to another thread. I didn&#39;t realize I was making such a nuisance of myself on here. I have been trying to act like this site was my classroom and I apologize to everyone.

I&#39;m turning over a new leaf.

Honest to God. I&#39;m not mentioning grammar and spelling ever again. I will not comment on pics, no matter how offensive. It&#39;s not my place to try to make everybody live right.
