The Bitter Truth

Well, we know where we stand at least, underdog to Vanderbilt. The university spent 100 million to field this team. Really unbelievable.

Yep, attitude is an issue for some reason....

Hell, why not just alternate JG and J.J. at quarterback. J.J. can do some wildcat. Why that guy only gets 2 or 3 touches a game is stupid.

Obviously, I am disappointed in lots tonight but one thing that stands out...

The gaytar that intentionally crawled and hit JG in the knee. Trey Smith stood there and watched it happen... do something, jump on the guy, hell kick him after that low blow on your teammate and quarterback.. WTF

My first reaction too -- that lineman should have gone gonzo on the FL player. Show you'll protect your QB!

I can't help but notice little things like that. It shows what your made of as a player. I am not sure you can teach or coach situations like that. Either you have "it" or you don't. Tennessee doesn't have it...

I have for almost 60 years and I am tired of seeing Tennessee continue to get embarrassed on national TV over and over. It will continue with Georgia and Alabama. I see another winless SEC schedule. Maybe the recruits we are getting are overrated. How many top prospects would want to Tennessee who get embarrassed on national TV?? We change coaches yet nothing changes. They are making a joke out of a once proud respected program. I am still a fan, but I don't see things getting better anytime soon. Go Vols!!!

I realize my money doesnt matter to a university with plenty of it,but I spend my hard earned money to go to about 2-3 games a year from Atlanta and I never had a problem with it because I love tennessee so much but after going to Charlotte and seeing that debacle and watching tonight it's a hard pill to swallow I got tickets to 2 more games this year and will go because I probably couldn't give them away but next year and year after I will not attend until they can put forth the effort we do as fans.

I agree, I have a hard time justifying spending money on a team that plays this bad. The powers at be need to understand that they are losing a fan base. Tennessee has great fans but how much longer are we willing to put up with terrible teams?
