The Big Lebowski 2 in the works?

is it really necessary? Some movies should be left to stand on their own, without sequels or remakes, "The Big Lebowski" is one of those movies.

I agree for the most part. Hard to see how it could live up to the legend it has become.

I guess the only thing they could follow up on is the Dude being a Dad.

Maybe they'll go back to the Dude's days as a roadie for Metallica, Speed of Sound tour. I hear those guys were a bunch of a-holes.

Perhaps they'll go back to Donny's surfing days - from La Jolla to Pismo.

Perhaps we'll see the formation of The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers (and proud we are of all of them).

A co-worker got me the Big Lebowski kit. It came with:

a toe (with polish)
a rug mousepad (really ties the desk together)
a Little Lebowski Urban Achievers certificate
a coffee mug (suitable for throwing if you are say the Sheriff of Malibu or drinking coffee while cursing in a coffee shop).

a few what have you's

As I was watching The Big Lebowski, I saw this thread. Weird. It would be like making a Rocky Horror Picture Show sequel. No need in it.
