I like your enthusiasm but I am not sure we will beat Bama down. IF we win it will probably becasue they made too many mistakes (turnovers, penalties and maybe :cross: a few missed takles). That said, GO VOLS!!! :aggressive:

Another difference, the record:
Bama 5-0 6th in the nation (that commands a little respect)
Tenn 3-2 (that might scare a few Girl Scouts)

Let's see, the biggest difference between us and them:
We play by the rules.
They play by Logan's Checkbook.

Food for thought..
Phillip has been there what 13 or 14 years? This 13, 14 year span has arguably been the the best in UT history. In that time yall have done really well by winning 2 SEC titles and 1 national title. Now that same 13, 14 year span has been the worst in Bama football history. Funny thing is that during the same time we have 2 SEC titles and 1 national title.

WRONG! The 14 years by CPF comes no where near any 14 year period by General Neyland.
As far as those 2 SEC titles and one MNC of Bamas, I think we all know how you bought them, dont we? :biggrin2:

Sorry - should have read recent history. Anyway, seems to me you fellas love to talk about Bama living in the past - really, General Neyland? Good thing for yall he made it back safe from the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Us??? Living in the past. We know the General is dead. You folks need to get a clue about the cheater Bryant.
Good job in ignoring the second part of that. Truth hurts, doesnt it? :biggrin2:

You are correct, I was ignoring it - did not feel like such a typical juvenile statement deserved a response.
Here is some truth that I'm sure hurts though. UT was ranked #3 to start the year and has done nothing but underachieve...again. UT has little to no chance of playing for any title this year.
Now go get your shine box.

You have to admit bringing up the General was funny. As far as the payment goes - yes, a fair question and a stupid question. I'm not sure what/if Young paid for the titles but obviously it was worth it either way. Now Albert Means....he was not worth it. Is that simple enough?
You got any thoughts on the game next week or are you content with letting me make you look like a fool? Before you respond try to remember what old Abe Lincoln said, "Its better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Here's the difference between Alabama and Tennessee. We got caught cheating and yall still haven't yet. Yall know that every school out there cheats. Players get paid by boosters, coaches, everybody. If you don't agree with that then you're living in denial. I don't know if Fulmer ratted us out or not, I really don't care either. All I care about is on field performance. This year, we are 5-0 and we look great. Yall are 3-2 and look inconsistent at best. To say that next Saturday is going to be "bammer beat down day" and really truly believe that your team can come into Tuscaloosa and hand it to us, you're crazy. Maybe yall can win, that's true, but you're not going to do it easily. Our defense is just too good to give up more than 10 to 14 at the MOST against yall's offense. If 10 to 14 is enough to win the game, then maybe yall will. But I don't think 10 to 14 is going to be enough. Bama 20 UT 10.
