I like your enthusiasm but I am not sure we will beat Bama down. IF we win it will probably becasue they made too many mistakes (turnovers, penalties and maybe :cross: a few missed takles). That said, GO VOLS!!! :aggressive:

Most turnovers (by all teams) are forced and I can see us forcing them to make several.
We will beat them down! Book it! This team will rally back and beat them well! It is and shall be known as bammer beat down day!

Another difference, the record:
Bama 5-0 6th in the nation (that commands a little respect)
Tenn 3-2 (that might scare a few Girl Scouts)

Your fellow member of the "Rusty Shackelford nation" aka bammer nation is the one that came to our board and asked for respect.
As far as our records go? Your right. But the season is far from over little bammer. Your first loss will be covered in BIG ORANGE!

All the respect PBB earned them has been lost thru their unscroupulous actions over the last ten years. Shameful!

Let's see, the biggest difference between us and them:

We play by the rules.

They play by Logan's Checkbook.

I disagree. Logan Young paid in cash, in brown paper bags. Id probably change that to say "They play by Logans ATM card"

Food for thought..
Phillip has been there what 13 or 14 years? This 13, 14 year span has arguably been the the best in UT history. In that time yall have done really well by winning 2 SEC titles and 1 national title. Now that same 13, 14 year span has been the worst in Bama football history. Funny thing is that during the same time we have 2 SEC titles and 1 national title.

WRONG! The 14 years by CPF comes no where near any 14 year period by General Neyland.

As far as those 2 SEC titles and one MNC of Bamas, I think we all know how you bought them, dont we? :biggrin2:

Sorry - should have read recent history. Anyway, seems to me you fellas love to talk about Bama living in the past - really, General Neyland? Good thing for yall he made it back safe from the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Us??? Living in the past. We know the General is dead. You folks need to get a clue about the cheater Bryant.

Good job in ignoring the second part of that. Truth hurts, doesnt it? :biggrin2:

You are correct, I was ignoring it - did not feel like such a typical juvenile statement deserved a response.

Here is some truth that I'm sure hurts though. UT was ranked #3 to start the year and has done nothing but underachieve...again. UT has little to no chance of playing for any title this year.

Now go get your shine box.

I have no qualms in saying the UT isnt playing up to the hype this year. But its funny you should bring up VOL history, then accuse me of living in the past.

Now, just how much did Young pay for those 2 SEC Championships and MNC? Its a fair question. If you arent smart enough or mature enough to answer, then dont respond.

Its so simple that even a bama fan can understand it.

You have to admit bringing up the General was funny. As far as the payment goes - yes, a fair question and a stupid question. I'm not sure what/if Young paid for the titles but obviously it was worth it either way. Now Albert Means....he was not worth it. Is that simple enough?

You got any thoughts on the game next week or are you content with letting me make you look like a fool? Before you respond try to remember what old Abe Lincoln said, "Its better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Me look like a fool? You madam are the one who said the 14 Fulmer years are the best in Volunteer history. You havent a clue about UT, or anything else for that matter.

I am glad we can agree that the recent championships were bought by Bama. As in all investment risks, Young did lose on the Means transaction. But he more than made up for it by all of the championships he paid for during the Bryant years that preceeded it.

Thoughts on next weks game: throw the records out the door. Its UT/BAMA. We have nothing to lose and everything to save by beating Bama. Bama, on the other hand, can continue to be Fulmers beotch if they lose the 10th of 11.

Here's the difference between Alabama and Tennessee. We got caught cheating and yall still haven't yet. Yall know that every school out there cheats. Players get paid by boosters, coaches, everybody. If you don't agree with that then you're living in denial. I don't know if Fulmer ratted us out or not, I really don't care either. All I care about is on field performance. This year, we are 5-0 and we look great. Yall are 3-2 and look inconsistent at best. To say that next Saturday is going to be "bammer beat down day" and really truly believe that your team can come into Tuscaloosa and hand it to us, you're crazy. Maybe yall can win, that's true, but you're not going to do it easily. Our defense is just too good to give up more than 10 to 14 at the MOST against yall's offense. If 10 to 14 is enough to win the game, then maybe yall will. But I don't think 10 to 14 is going to be enough. Bama 20 UT 10.

Yeah yeah, we know that bama is unstoppable this year. I think that you all should just go ahead and claim another title now. No sense in playing the rest of the games.

Thanks for that reading of the Gospel According to Gallion. Yes, CPF ratted you out. Along with about 11 or 12 other coaches. But, since bama has beat those others and NOT CPF, he has had to deal with a bunch of idiots from bammerland.

I take it that from BAMAs 5-0 start, you folks seem to forget all the mud thats been slung by you and your bretheren. NOW, all of the sudden, it "I dont care about anything except on the field performance".

Can UT beat Bama? You bet they can. Will they? we'll see. But please dont come in here, after enduring 5 years of idiot conspiracy theories, slanderous attacks on our head coach and overall classlessness and claim "all we care about is what happens on the field".

Uh, UT has 6 recognized MNCs (using the same criteria that Bama uses).

Of those 6, none have been proven to have been "PAID FOR".

UT only has 13 SEC Championships

Superbowl QBS: We'll have one in January.
