I hate to say that but to get out rebounded by 25 rebounds, besides that they beat Kentucky by about 10 at Kentucky, shutting down Patterson. They have four quality inside guys, excellent guard play, may even win it all. UT was put in too tough of a bracket.I never had a good feeling about this game. I am proud of the Vols and coach though.

Brutal bracket, no doubt. Louisville did a great job of pulling it together this year, and you guys have nothing to be ashamed of.

Rick Pitino is one of the most successful collegiate coaches of all-time, Bruce is still relatively inexperienced in the tournament. No shame being outcoached by a guy that has taken three different teams to the Final Four.

Louisville came to play and made shots. We were out coached. Simply.
While I reluctantly agree with that, our guys let opportunity after opportunity pass them by while trying to catch up during the game.

Plain and simple, they were better. Don't think they'll beat UNC at Charlotte though

Call it coaching, preparedness, or execution. We were beaten by a team that has no business beating us.

This from the man who is:

1) Happy with how UT's football season went this year

2) Defends Fulmer.

Exactly what I don't understand. The same people that say Pearl is outcoached and are slamming him will defend Fulmer to the death...

No. We played poorly tonight, but we are and have been the better team. Shite happens. It sucks. We regressed the last few weeks with our point guard play and shooting. We are a streaky team and didn't play to our potential. When Carolina beats Louisville, it won't be because they have better coaching, it will be because they have better players.

I love Pearl and hope he'll be out HC for a long time. But losing the way we lost this game will sting til next year. (Exactly like the feeling from any Peach Bowl game in football)

Uh... They finished 2nd in the Big East and were preseason picked as a top 10 team (and for good reason).

And had a ton of injurys and a disappointing season from Edgar Sosa, all of which they have learned to overcome. Louisville is the more talented team hands down.

Thank you for the rationality dickens, Louisville is an extremely talented and balanced basketball team.

We were not outcoached in our last football game. Fulmer does not need to be defended.

We won, but how can you defend that playcalling in that bowl game and not call it inept coaching? A botched trick play and leaving Gerald Jones in on 3 downs... and both times, we were moving the ball on drives against Wisky?
