Makers is my go to brand.

I like Woodford too. Tried Elijah but it didn't do it for me (although it is good).

Knob Creek is too heavy or dark for me - not sure how to describe it but the charred oak is a bit overwhelming.

Look, I've drank it for years, and I've never gotten redneck. It just relaxes me, so think what you want to.
think what I want to?

I'm not even making fun of you. I've just never heard the term "gotten redneck". Thought it was funny.

Tried the wild turkey 101 a couple months ago & absolutely love it! Hands down my pick. I prefer it over makers any day.

Many years ago, I worked with a fellow in Florida that drank a fifth of Wild Turkey each day. We called him Snake. I sometimes wonder what happened to him.............and his liver.

Turkey is some smooth stuff, can't be beat imo....but Evan Williams was the choice for me at UTK, on a college budget.

About 15 years ago I ran across a bourbon in a store, the only store i ever found it, called "single barrell bourbon." Came in a crystal decanter. That one was the best I ever had. Second best was Old Ezra, not Ezra Brooks. Came in a wood box. Haven't seen that since the late 80's. Of the others listed, Wild Turkey, expecially American Honey, and MM.

I would guess he is dead. Alcoholic's can't get transplants.

I'm drowning in a whiskey river,
Bathing my mem'ried mind in the wetness of its soul.
Feeling the amber current flowin' from my mind.
And warm an empty heart you left so cold.
