Take a minute or two to catch Perry's voice; it's pretty mesmerizing. It's like, you know how distinctive and haunting Stevie Nicks' voice is, and especially was when she was young? Kimberly Perry's voice is very different from Stevie's, but it has that undefinable something unique, too. Worth listening to once, even if you don't like the genre.

On top of which, the harmonies she and her brothers can pull down really are incredible. It's almost like they share genetic makeup.

But think of it this way: a generation or two from now, when folks are talking about an exciting new singer with an incredible voice, folks might be saying: "Is she Patsy Cline, Stevie Nicks, or Kimberly Perry?"

But to each his own, I'm sorry you'll be going to the fridge while they're on. Probably for the best, anyway, sound is never great, never clear during stadium concerts.

First Im not a fan either but they kicked ass last night. Second it may be pre-recorded. I could be completely wrong but last night they got the crowd all pumped up and was telling everyone that the next song was going to be played on ESPN and they wanted everyone to cheer and dance so it looked good. I thought they said halftime but I dont want to put something out there that Im not 100% certain on.

Honestly, I didn't watch any of the halftime show. I switched to another game as soon as the show began. I can't stand what currently passes for country music and I've never liked pop music.
