I read in today's Birmingham newspaper that Alabama is in the process of expanding Bryant-Denny-Saban Stadium to over 100,000, which no doubt will baloon to top the capacity of Jordan-Hare and probably Neyland. They are flush with millions in donations since the hiring of Saban.

There is no doubt that with the hiring of Saban that they wil be able to keep top draft picks in state (Jamarcus Russell, Sears and the Jason Allens). Spectacular sucess will be coming their way soon at the expense of the other league teams.

Just as the Roman general, Aetius's failure to finish off Attila the Hun at the Battle of Chalons eventually spelled doom to the Roman Empire, the NCAA failure to unlease the death penalaty on the rogue school, Alabama will prove disasterous to the other football programs in the SEC!

Didn't the Huns abandon the war with Rome before the empire fell?

Only after the Pope personally put the "Fear of God" in him(Attila) during his second invasion during which the Roman Legions were impotent to stop the Hoard.

Even if I hadn't hated Alabama since I was in kindergarten, I would still be rooting for a lovely 4-8 season just to watch the whole "Jesus the Coach" thing crash hard.

($1 to whoever said that on here last week.)

Holds a little over 87,000. I would say it's in the top 3 or 4 as being loud.
Yes just under 87,500 ask any Gator or Tigah fan about the this past season those games were loud!!BDStadium in 02 wasn't so loud not taking a shot at ya but thats the only game I've been to there.UGA fans were freakin LOUD when we won 2 yrs ago, well thats all I have sorry for wasting your time!

Don't worry about them boys down at aaaalaaaabaaaaamaaaa. Different year, same old result. They have the same crappy players there. If they can turn it around, it'll be after a few years of decent recruiting.

Probation and Shula left the cupboard bare.

There are so many incorrect things in this post, I don't know where to start.

The cupboard is so bare that we haven't beaten them by more than one score since 2001. Since that game, the series is led by UT, 3-2. Yeah, we're totally dominating.

Right you are and I hate to admit it, but if Shula goes for it on fourth and one at the goal line last year we're toast!

How do you know that; that's exactly how we beat him in the game that went to like 13 OT's was stopping them in short yardage situations, and many of those were at the goal line.

I've been to Legion field twice, and Jordan Hare one time. JD is louder than Neyland, and Legion is not loud at all, which is puzzling since Bama fans are such fanatics.
