The Attitude Era Of Tennessee Football Begins In Less Than A Week.

I practically expect that I'll be listening to dejected players in the locker room and angry fans on the call-in show when I drive home. It's like that has become part of the gameday experience.

Really hoping that changes now!

Next Sunday shoule be a good one with Volnation Live

i want to see the stadium cheering for the offense again. the defense has been the stars for so long. Go vols

I agree completely. I remember thinking this beginning with the South Carolina game in '05. It felt like a completely different crowd in the stands once the defense came onto the field. Then the air let out again when the O walked back on.

I got goosebumps during the "It's Time" tv show when I watched it a little while ago. If loving a football team this much is wrong, I dont wanna be right. I think I'm going to watch the Orange and White game again for about the 100th time.

hell yeah i am ready! these will be the longest 6 days. kudos to hat for starting this thread!! GO VOLS!

Ready like I have not been ready for Tennessee Football in about 8 years. The so called Football we have had to endure and witness for the last 7 years has made me even more of a SHEEP for 2009 and Kiffin and staff. 12:21 at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 5, 2009 the place explodes like you have not heard since Cal game in 2006 and I bet it even puts that to shame. Did you hear me all you Fulmerites?? IT IS FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!

so since i'm from chicago i'm not able to see the It's Time tv special and want to know how everyone liked it.

Let me tell you something Tony Schiavone, the Vols like full sweater women, and we can sing Rocky Top ALLLLL....NIIIGGGGHHHHTTTT....LLLOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I have one simple question: Are you ready?
I THOUGHT that every year held what most other fan bases THINK we all feel right now. In other words, every year I think, for whatever reason, that the upcoming season holds some reason for extreme anticipation. Hell, I was strangely anticipating last year. This year, however, is WAY different. No more perfunctory going through the motions(redundancy....I know). Win or lose THERE WILL BE FIRE......FINALLY!!!!!! Hat, I can say with certainty that I AM READY TO EXPERIENCE PLAYER AND COACH PASSION. HELL YEAH!!!!!

Yeah, somehow this year seems different. In a good way.

No more "3rd and Chavis"
No more "working like heck"
No more weird looking grimises on the sidelines.

Lets Knock Somebody's Freaking Block Off!!!!

Yes sir ... I have been anxiously awaiting this season since the loss to bama.

I have been a fan, serious, since the 1960's, I have watched Dickey, Battle, Majors, and now CPF leave...and I liked them all for what they did and tried to do. But when one king goes the refrain should be "long live the new king," CLK I hope you wear the crown well.

GO VOLS
