The Atlanta Braves

His xERA is north of 5 for the last 6 years. Are you insane?
Since the start of 2020 (705 innings) he has: 4.01 ERA, 4.40 FIP. 4.49 xFIP. 4.64 SIERA. Never had an ERA over 4.53 during this time. And that is despite pitching in primarily in hitter friendly environments. These numbers are not good obviously, but they are acceptable from the 5th spot.

I enjoy expected stats as much as the next guy, and aside from your 1 stat, this is 6 years worth of data that says he is roughly a mid 4 ERA pitcher.

Elder's grip change on his Sinker has made a huge difference for him. He's pitching over his head the last 6-7 starts, but stuff+ seems to think everything together makes him an above average pitcher now. I would have to agree.
This you?

I know they love to keep those out of options guys but than pen would be underwhelming and redundant

Just give Bryce the 5 and cut Perez
