Yeah. The Braves would be one of the least likely MLB franchises to hire him.

Stoerner has said a couple of times to watch for StL in the future. He considered it pretty unlikely, as it would be a pretty big outside the box move for them too (just as it would for any MLB team) but Tony has good relationships with people in their FO, and there's been a changing of the guard there with Mozeliak gone and being replace by Chaim Bloom. Plus he's from St. Louis.
 
MLB teams don't really hire college coaches do they? At least not as manager. Not exactly the same as CFB HC going to the NFL, where scheme is a huge factor. Basebal managers are required to manage egos, write up a linu-up, and do BP management. I don't really see why a college coach would be of high consideration for an MLB job.

Pat Murphy is the only active manager who comes to mind.
