I actually don't see it that way.Assuming you're talking about the Vols here.
Boo is important. So is Thomas to an extent. But this year will be decided by QB play. Luckily the schedule is on our favor. Our hardest teams (UGA and Bama) are going through their own QB changes. And I think Aguilar has the sort of experience that should let him excel in this offense.
Depends on how good Lagway actually is. Right now, he's all hype. He was decent as far as true freshman QBs go, but some people already have him as a top 5 in the SEC, which is insane considering how overall mediocre he was last year. If the wheels fall off for the Gators, they will be running an interim coach out there when we play them, and several players will already be in the portal or protecting themselves for the draft. We aren't winning in the swamp

This team should have the same formula as last year. Run the ball and play great defense. Aguilar just can't be stupid and *hopefully* he can hit the open man running down the sideline. Losing Boo hurts a lot more when you can't go run the score up every week.

That's just as much an indicator of the lack of QB depth in the SEC as it is the skill of Lagway. Tons of SEC schools have questions at QB this year.Depends on how good Lagway actually is. The run game will be good as it's always been.We were limited last year because of Nico's passing ability. We blow OU out of the water with a better passing game. Ditto for Arky and UF.
I have little doubt the passing game will be better this year. It's the running game I am concerned about. Especially since Aguilar isn't nearly the threat to run that Nico was.
