The Atlanta Braves

Yeah pointing out he’s walked 4 per 9 ip and has a FIP of 4.8. Sss or whatever but he’s no lock to be anything other and a guy with potential like the other 100 pitchers we have drafted

AJ for sure isn't a "hit" yet with only 74 career innings at the MLB level. But he sure was trending that way this year before the injury set in. Hopefully he when he comes back he can shake off the rust pretty quick.

Lol ok. It’s like that huh?

Keep glazing AA’s decisions bro. And I’ll keep keeping those receipts 👍🏻
Ohhhhh relax Scott. I’ve made it clear I’m not down with what AA is doing.

You know the rankings were late on Strider, Schwellenbach and Baldwin? They’re also late on Caminiti, Ritchie and Fuentes. Hard to be a perfect system with such a prospect pool to evaluate across the MLB.

Our farm system is consistently ranked at the bottom by everyone except lotto. AA and scouts are fine he says! Maybe he is the only ball knower?

Yet we keep producing 3 WAR talent basically every year. Some years it's multiple 3+ WAR players. Maybe the farm system rankings aren't as magical as you make them out to be?

The Dodgers consistently have had a much higher ranked system over the last 5-6 years. Care to guess who is producing more MLB starting caliber players?

Let’s see all these 3 war players that we are plugging in every year. Name them sir.

The only players drafted or signed by AA in 7 draft classes that have produced a 3 WAR season by fWAR is Michael Harris and Spencer Strider (with Drake Baldwin pending). That's it. That's not exactly producing 3 WAR talent every year.

lol they’re wild man. Not sure we want to play that game vs the duds when they have spent money and developed talent at a much higher level. Especially hitters

Funny enough the only two Dodgers acquired since 2018 that have produced a 3 WAR season for them is James Outman (lol) and Bobby Miller (also lol)

What year you want me to start?

How about 2019?

2019 - Riley and Soroka. Yes I know Riley didn't breakout until 2021, but you can count him in 2021 if you would rather do that.

2020 - COVID year, skip

2021 - Contreras' rookie season, even though he broke out in 2022. Otherwise, you can put Riley here

2022 - Harris, Strider, and Kyle Wright breakout season

2023 - None

2024 - I guess technically Schwelly didn't hit 3 WAR. But he is a certified stud regardless.

And this ignores Anderson, who was valuable in 2020 and 2021. And it ignores Elder who put up 2.6 bWAR as a rookie.

so after this season 3 years without a 3 WAR homegrown player.

I rest my case your honor

Jesus Christ dude.

If you want to hang your hat on Schwelly not getting called up until almost June, go ahead. He is a stud nonetheless. And Drake is a stud too.

Would you feel better if I changed it to 2 WAR instead?

Let's see the list of Dodgers prospects since 2019. They consistently have a better farm than ours. Surely they pumping out star after star with all those great farm system rankings.

Okay great. How many were signed or drafted by AA's regime?
