He could go to a regular store and buy nicer furniture, but then nobody would know how shrewd he is. That one time he bought a good piece and got a great deal but the other 20 times he bought stuff that broke when people sat in it.You just know that AA buys all his furniture and appliances from one of those damaged goods stores
They created this mess by thinking they were smarter than everyone and jamming pitcher after pitcher every draft and what do we have to show for it? We just cut Jesse Chavez for the 19th time and Joey wentz and Dane dunning are here to eat 3 months worth of innings. So no, I don’t have any confidence in anything this organization is doing, especially if the justification for taking that kid R1 is a little soft tossing lefty we overpaid for. They shifted their philosophy this year. Y’all were gonna be mad regardless
They’ve had 4 ROY candidates since 2022. You can get mad at a lot of things this organization does, but they do find guys. I couldn’t care less what the prospect rankings say.new philosophy sucks too, mad because the organization is stuck in a perennial state of flinging crap against the wall praying it will stick
Are you under the impression these guys just start in the league? At least two guys should be in the pen right now that aren’t. That’s not a drafting problem, that’s an organization not managing the roster problem. They’ve drafted how many arms the past few years and look at our pen? We can’t even have a few of them be middle relievers???

2021 was the start and since 2020, Strider, Schwellenbach and AJSS have locked down rotation spots. Ritchie will be right there next year and Murphy looked incredible prior to injury. They’ve had this philosophy for how many years now?
Who should be? Also, the product we have to watch every night tells the tale
We can go back and forth on these guys all day, it’s just not enough. Finding and developing are different things and yes, we’ve made some good value picks and finds, but the end product compared to what others are getting out of their systems every year it seems has put us behind the 8 ball. No depth and nothing to pull from that’s not desperation (Fuentes).2021 was the start and since 2020, Strider, Schwellenbach and AJSS have locked down rotation spots. Burkhalter and Harris should 100% be in the pen and they’re giving Waldrep every chance to start, but you could make a case for him as well.
I have a sh!t ton of qualms with this organization but I’m not all that upset with the drafting philosophy. It’s weird, no doubt, but they still find guys. I never would have anticipated Baldwin would be this promising.
Now the IFA is a completely different story. Their philosophy there is a big problem.
