The Atlanta Braves

Men, would appreciate your prayers. I’ve coached an 8 year old young man on my boy’s baseball team the last two years. They have played baseball/allstars/travel ball and football together over that time period and have had the same core group of boys. They’re all extremely close. There’s one particular young man, Blake, that is a coach’s dream as a player: pure heart and effort, insane work ethic, respectful, coachable, constantly building up his teammates, etc. His nickname is Captain because he was the heart and soul of all our teams. He and his father lost their lives in a jet ski accident. His poor mother is inconsolable. Our boys are heartbroken. Us coaches are heartbroken. We had a game in the schedule tonight, and the boys wanted to play it to honor him. It’s going to be challenging. Please lift up his mother and our boys in prayer. Much love to all. God bless you guys.
This is horrible. Can’t even imagine.

Trying to figure out the postseason pitching staff. For the LDS, with three off days, no need to have more than 12.

Guaranteed
Fried
Strider
Morton
Elder

Iglesias
Minter
Johnson
Jimenez
Hand
Yates

I guess Tonkin makes it. Heller? Wright? Vines?

Honestly, with three off days…do you need 12 pitchers? Elder can be your long man, you have your three starters…you’ll need 12 minimum for the LCS if you get there but I think I’d rather have the flexibility for pinch hitters and runners…

Wright will be there. No way elder gets a start. Long man most likely for elder

I just hope Matt is at home when he breaks the record. He deserves a standing O, and seriously if he didn't have 2 long slumps he could be chasing Judge for sure maybe 70
