Max hasnt lasted a full season in years, had a dead arm last year. I dont mind not having him.
Another hot take, but I dont want Degrom when hes a FA either. It would suck to see his 40mil chilling on the bench in October.

My main point is no pitcher on the planet is worth $43M. I mean there’s no salary cap so like it technically doesn’t prevent you from spending in other places. Just probably not the best use of money.
