Sadly Trout’s body is failing him fast man. Really hate to see it.

The back thing is something that will bother him for the rest of his career. Sad. I was talking to my BIL who is an orthopedic surgery resident. Said some of the media descriptions of it are overblown (shocker) - the condition he has is neither particularly rare or a career-ender, but it'll be an issue for him for the rest of his playing days and he'll have to constantly manage it.

It is. But between needing a stud pen option and the innings it would probably be the best. Max/Kyle/Chuck is a good three man and maybe Ian keeps improving
