Gilbert has to be smarter. That was a simple jack move. Players should never get run. Let the staff argue and get tossed.
Also true that we shouldn’t have a short leash because we pimp homers and wear a fur coat. That’s not against the rules.

Assistant coaches can’t come barging out of the dugout. Also immediate toss. I don’t think either of those things had to do with Tennessee or the antics. They’re textbooks ejections.

I will say, now being aware that college carries a one game suspension (an absolutely horrendous rule), that the umpire needs to have a little thicker skin there. Not taking Drew off the hook, but someone’s gotta do a little more than that to me before I decide to run him from two games in these circumstances. My two cents.

Imagine it’s not the f bomb..these are adults. I only watched the video one time but what I got out of it was Gilbert saying **** you, that’s ****in terrible.

Can you say no fkn way? Can you say that’s fkn terrible? Don’t think there’s issues there. You can’t really look at the ump and say **** you. Can’t argue that ejection
