The other really stupid thing (and I’ll be done) is that Newk is terrible with runners inherited. Usually he isn’t too bad starting an inning. Why not use O’Day in the 4th and then you use Newk for two innings if it’s still 3-0.

It's wild. I still remember from my trip to Atlanta a few years ago watching Newk carve up the Nats and taking over first place. And now we are here.
