The Atlanta Braves

Thats fine, I hate that program. Play nobody for 2/3 of the season then everyone sucks you off in March. Its disgusting. A season like this is perfect for them to win it.
Through no fault of their own, a few of them got canceled (including the ass whopping they would’ve given our team) but they scheduled an insanely good out of conference schedule this year. Yes their conference sucks, doesn’t change them being one of the best teams in the country.

Eh, 9 seasons out of 10 they schedule good team early in the season when theyre still figuring things out. Its why they get bounced early usually. They dont play a tough game from conference play starting in December to the 3rd or so round of the tournament. Like I said this is the perfect season for them to win it. Play mainly their conference, most of the best to ever do it dont have time to get their teams rounded into form. Dont play a tough March game until the FF, it just fits them.

Does Gonzaga not have to figure things out early in the season too? They scheduled Tennessee, Baylor, Iowa, West Virginia, Virginia they play in a tournament to start the year almost every year, this year they beat Kansas and Auburn. Then they took care of business in conference by winning every game by double digits. They usually do get bounced out earlier than id like, but this year they still beat teams in the tournament by double digits. The last team to beat them was actually BYU in conference, but Gonzaga beat them 3 times this season.

They beat Kansas, Auburn, WVU, Iowa and UVA. Had to cancel our game (another quality win bc people still thought we were good then) and a game against Baylor. That pre-conference schedule is more impressive than almost anyone’s conference slate.

But those teams were figuring things out at the time, Gonzaga wasn't, but the opponents were.

And all of those teams were down this year.

Not really, besides Suggs everyone that plays minutes for Gonzaga this year has been there for a few years. It was said before the season that those teams who do not rely on roster turnover would have an advantage. And you point out KU and AU like they were good? Our terrible team beat KU by 20, and Auburn wasnt even going to make the tournament.

Nembhard was new to the team too. They beat Iowa by 11 and Iowa was a 2 seed in the tournament. They played tough teams and beat them, not Gonzaga's fault those teams didn't live up to the hype. You can hate them all you want and say they suck or their conference sucks but at the end of the day, they're undefeated and going to the national championship and earned their way there so i guess they're not that bad.
