I’m just not drawing this connection at all. If we had lost the game 2, then it’s obvious. I’m just not a believer in “momentum” existing between games in baseball. When we put a near 30 burger on the Marlins, we lost the game before 8-0 and only won by one against the gNats the game after.

They were dead in the water for 17 innings

Why is AA getting credit for ANYTHING

I think only 3 starters were moved at the deadline this year. There weren’t going to be many sellers in a year where 16 teams made the playoffs.

Its not as much momentum as it is confidence/swagger. Those big innings happen then you see the ball just a bit better, you run a little harder so on and so forth.

The point is so called “momentum” didn’t cause them to score all these runs. It’s Minter, Tomlin, Kyle and Dayton completely sucking at pitching. When you walk and throw meatballs to the best hitting team in baseball your going to get killed
