Yeah, some are being a little dramatic, but it's pretty clear that the braves are doing a poor job of managing the PR end of this.Man, you guys are in need of some Midol. It's still, technically, the off season. Not that I believe it means that either will sign with Atlanta, but both Harper and Machado are still unsigned and this is still holding up the market. Kimbrel is still out there. There are moves to be made.
The Mets and Nats were a disaster last year. May not work out for the Phillies. That's where I think it becomes reactionary. No way everything works out for the Mets, Phils and Nats.
Nobody want to offer them more than what they got from philly. Try againBraves Thread: "We should trade some of these prospects for Realmuto."
Marlins: "Sure. We'll take players X, Y, and Z."
Braves Thread: "That's too much. Good luck."
Marlins: "Ok. No problem. We'll ship him to the Phillies."
Braves Thread: "Why didn't we offer Miami a better deal than what they just got from Philly?"
Can't win with some of you.

All I'm saying is that you literally could have posted most of the above 12 months ago except you would have also been talking about a hole at 3B.We have a hole in RF and at C, question marks at 2nd and SS, and just moved our third best offensive player to a theoretical role our 1965 manager can’t manage. I would say we’re the ones that need “everything to work out”
I'm sure they probably did get better offers, at least from an outside opinion, than what they ultimately took from Philly. What I'm saying is that most of this thread will blame the Braves FO for "not offering enough" but then would have beeyotched incessantly if Albies or too many of the wrong prospects would have been sent to Miami in the deal.
