I'm trying not to bliw things out of porpotion but seeing the Mets and Phils make huge upgrades this winter and watching us tell everybody they are too expensive sucks
Just to be clear, I’m not mad about not overpaying for a Catcher, it’s more about the other holes we have that didn’t get filled. Like signing Markakis instead of trading for a legit RF.
The three-batter rule is stupid. What's stopping, let's say, a situational lefty from faking injury after facing less than 3?
I would be for a DH in the NL if the DH (in both leagues) was tied to the pitcher, unless the pitcher is pulled before the DH got his first AB. If the pitcher exits, you must replace the DH. It would be a compromise that would appease fans of both leagues. Maybe expand the rosters to 28.
A 20-second pitch clock is a no-brainer, but enforcement would need to go both ways. A penalty on the pitcher results in a ball, on the batter a strike.
The best team to not-make the playoffs should have the number one pick.
According to that Matts guy we’re not done with coaching moves. Someone asked if we’re going after Jay Grahamand he liked the comment. Obviously doesn’t mean a lot but if we could get Jay that would be huge.
