The Atlanta Braves

If you think nba officials are on the right path @zjcvols check out the end of the Grizzlies game

The dirty truth is that all refereeing sucks in all sports. And probably always has. And there's probably no way to fix it. It's just that the video/replay technology got good enough to expose how bad all of it is and always has been.

They called a jump ball on the floor. Pointed out the two people jumping. Went to the monitor. Announced the call on the floor was a foul. Said went to monitor to confirm FT shooter even though the jump ball was called on the floor and the two players involved were definitively pointed out all in real time. No replay necessary.

... And as the athletes get bigger and faster, it gets harder to officiate. This is a serious comparison but... We've got a youth basketball league that we run at our church and we staff it with volunteer referees. You start feeling inadequate real fast trying to do justice to a game full of even 16 and 17 year olds. I can't imagine elite athletes.

I guess something is wrong with me because I don't think or falsely remember any of the things people post in relation to this phenomenon...
Well after some research a couple of sites falsely reported it. He fell and hit his head but never passed like they said.

Now that you mention it, I think I do remember the reports of him passing. Something similar happened with Jeff Goldblum a few years back iirc.

I get making the right deal, but I’m not sure how we go into the year with 1,000 pitching prospects competing for 10 AAA/AA spots and still major needs all over the field.

Turned on this KSU - A&M game before our game and this is just painful to watch. Nobody can shoot, turnovers every other possessions and the A&M crowd can barely even half ass their way through an “air ball” chant.
