I wouldn't call 2022/2023 **** storms, those were 100-win teams. But this team basically died when Elder gave up the 3-run homer to Harper in Game 3 in 2023, and it seems the organization has never mentally recovered.

It's why you cannot have a moron for a manager, not matter how much of a lifer or good ol' boy he is. They blew prime opportunities in 2019 and 2023 (2022 wasn't on Snit) because of him and now the future is so cloudy. AA is going to look back in his retirement and realize he made the wrong choice to keep him at manager
