The Atlanta Braves

Probably not a great sign we are in year of 8 of AA's tenure and the only 2 position players that seem worth a damn they've drafted or internationally signed is Harris, Langeliers and Baldwin. And there is nobody even remotely exciting currently in the minor that is above 18 years old.
Also, he used to do interviews like every other week when we were good, where is this clown at? He needs to face some tough questions because the outlook isn’t great

We cut $30M from last year's payroll and not one dude in the ATL media has asked him about it when he has been available in the Spring lol. He's going to do the same "We believe in the players" "It's not Snit's fault, it's mine" song and dance he's done every slow start they've had.

The Braves have the 3rd worst record in all of baseball.

Only the Rockies and White Sox are worst. THE ROCKIES AND WHITE SOX.

I just cannot get excited about this baseball team until "Ah geez, I don't know" is let go. He is slowly sucking the life out of this baseball team with a vice grip and nobody in the FO or ownership cares.

The international sanctions killed us there. But from a draft standpoint, when you only draft 4-5 position players a year, you probably aren't going to produce much MLB talent there. I really don't understand why every draft is the same in that regard. The 1 draft where we went heavy on position players was 2019, we hit well with Langeliers and Harris. Even Shewmake and Grissom reached the majors at least.

I have an idea. Let’s try drafting more than 4-5 position players. AA is a hack.

Now Merk wants to get more money ha

After getting a 200K raise

don’t wanna go all cardboards because players deserve money for the revenue they help drive but there needs to be some sort of governing body for this. It’s the Wild West.

What is preventing (if anything) the collectives from putting buyout provisions in these NIL deals?
