I think Strider is absolutely a leader but there’s not a hitter on this team that really cares about the outcome day in, day out.

Additionally, half the lineup has *zero* approach. You watch the Dodgers, Padres, Phillies, Mets, etc. and they make the pitching work 1-9. The Braves just don’t do that.

No, he never was. Baseball might be the one sport where there are lots of good teams who don't have good head coaches.

Did y'all see the interview he gave on 680 The Fan before last season (or maybe it was 2 seasons ago)? The gist of it was "I don't even really agree with a lot of the stuff the people in the front office think, but gee ya know, you kinda just gotta go along with it."
