I’d have more respect for it if the ref just flat out said “hey it looked cool we are reversing this” than that “well technically the shin hit first before the knee!”

It will be interesting to see what Anthopoulos does with the 26 million that he saved on the Soler dump deal with Anaheim and I wonder if he will look to trade Iglesias and possibly make Jiminez the closer for 2025.

I would have to put getting Adames as priority 1 and getting an OF and starter as options 2a and 2b. You’re going to have the Soler $(13M), Morton $(20M) and Fried $(15M). No reason why you shouldn’t be able to get Adames and a decent OF and you could bring back Morton on a 10M deal as a 5th starter or insurance for Strider or Sale. They say they are going to be increasing payroll so let’s see if they put their money where their mouth is
