It's nuts. How'd he violate the domestic violence policy?

MLB has hated Bauer for years. Been a huge critic of the league. Perhaps saw a chance to just rid themselves of him?

they just want to assure themselves he never plays again. Even with the suspension he’s been blackballed.

That's crazy. Some major double-standard going on. 2 years for *checks* having consensual sex with some woman blatantly trying to extort him who was also caught lying multiple times.

The really wild thing about Bauer's suspension is that they aren't giving him credit for any time served.

Ozuna got a 20-game retroactive suspension after being seen on police bodycam with his hands on his wife's neck, although charges were ultimately dropped. This is 2 years, no credit for time served, after allegations of sexual assault that resulted in no charges even being brought forward and the woman's restraining order dissolved by a judge.

Yea Manfred is ruling based on vendetta. Pretty obvious this is BS and an attempt to appease all the people who read the initial allegations and were outraged.
