Heredia is actually our best option against LH’s statistically off the bench. He was 101 wRC+ this year and 103 wRC+ for his career. So he some use.

You can’t say “Leave Gore off the roster because snit doesn’t know how to use him” and “Keep Heredia on the roster because snit is definitely going to use him to PH against LHP” in the same breath

Eventually he would have to use him I would think lol. I guess since we are playing Dodgers then we won’t see many lefties either. But with Urias going at least one game I’d start Heredia over Joc. So there is some use there.

Joc is absolutely horrid against lefties for his career. He was better this year but if we go against a lefty I’d like Joc to come off the bench in a situation where we can guarantee a righty. He’s more reliable than Eddie however on defense so either way I’m not gonna lose my mind.

Defense is the consideration BUT

If you think I’m turning down any Joc v dudger ABs in Joctober then you’ve got another thing coming

If we would have had Duvall all postseason last year I would have a giant script A tattooed on my calf right now. I’m getting Duvall every at bat I can. He is 1 of the bats I am least worried about after the big 3.
