I’m trying to say playoff games are won by the team who finds the big hit more often than not. Be it low scoring or not, give me the guy that’s a crooked number threatQUOTE="Florida Stanley, post: 20312519, member: 75557"]Runs are at premium? Maybe the reigning NL RBI Champion of the World could help there?[/QUOTE
You trying to say Woodruff, Barnes, Peralta aren't good?
Don't need automatic outs in the postseason lineup. Duvall might cost us an out every once in awhile, but he's worth a lot more lengthening the batting order. Give me 4 ABs out of Duvall and then stick Heredia out there in the victory formation in the 9th.I think runs will be at a premium this series. I'm not putting any of Joc Soler Rosario Duvall in CF. I'd rather have Pache's younger fresher legs in late. So give me 5-6 innings from Heredia to start then figure it out from there.
MLB has their head up their ass when it comes to postseason scheduling. They need to stop worrying so much about exclusivity and catering to large market teams. Just start all the weekday games 6:30-8ish so people don't have to do gymnastics to watch a game. With 4 series going at once, the appeal is still mostly regional anyway. It's OK if games overlap.Man, these mid-afternoon start times are awful.
This, I was looking ahead, and besides weekends this is the only series I'll probably get to see.MLB has their head up their ass when it comes to postseason scheduling. Then in a couple of weeks, they'll put World Series games on TV with 9:00 start times in the East so that kids can't watch more than a few innings of the biggest event they've got.
