Bowman keeps bringing up Duvall so that leads me to believe AA really likes him for some reason.

Camargo is going to play his way onto the field like he did last year - so does that mean Dansby, Markakis or Ender becomes available?

There’s a lot to play out. I’m pissed that we haven’t done more but we’re not “out” of the running on anything until the trade deadline.

Kimbrel as the closer makes this bullpen nasty. Assuming that Soroka locks up the last spot in the rotation, you have Touki, Gohara, Fried, Venters, Sobotka, Winkler, Viz, and Minter all available in the bullpen. That is nasty.

Damn, dude. Hate to hear all that. Sorry about your grandmother. Kidney stones can be not fun at all. I had bilateral obstructing stones last spring and had to have surgery. Hopefully, yours are smaller and will pass.

Depends on who doesn’t produce.

I don’t care how, but Camargo should get every start against a LH starter.

If it was me (and Markakis never would have been signed but assume I’m the manager) I would tell Nick he’s the 4th OF and let Camargo play right or left everyday.

The most analytical side says Ender/Markakis are both still average but Dansby will continue to struggle hitting. At that point Camargo at SS makes the most sense.

People smarter than me in finance, I got a question.

Liberty Media and McGuirk say that Liberty Media has no say over payroll and doesn’t have anything to do with, and McGuirk says payroll is entirely up to him. Let’s assume that is true (I don’t believe it but whatever). Isn’t it odd that an owner of a team or company would leave all financial decisions up to a CEO or COO for one person? I just don’t quite get it.

I'm hopeful that Dansby gets it together this year with his wrist being healthy.

I imagine McGuirk’s compensation is somewhat tied to how much money the Braves make. LM only cares about the bottom line and McGuirk is responsible for this subset of the LM portfolio.
