The Atlanta Braves

when is the appropriate time to make mention of Chris Stale’s dwindling K percentage
Averaging 3 more K's per inning than Skubal and nearly exactly the same as Skenes. Maybe 3 starts in isn't quite the appropriate time to evaluate these things.

I still can't get past the fact that the job TV was offered was the SF Giants though. Don't you have to think he's taking that job even if they loved each other? It isn't like he left for another college job or the Pittsburgh Pirates.

He also made him the highest paid head coach in the sport and spearheaded the LNS expansion. Vol Twitter loved the guy after that and the narrative at the time was "this is awesome because none of our previous bonehead ADs would have done this." From DW's perspective, he probably thought he did more than enough to keep him.
Not to mention our operating budgets in baseball have been tops in the country by a mile in recent years. We spent $2 million more than LSU did last year.

I still maintain SF is one of only 5-6 jobs that he would have left Tennessee for, the others being other MLB jobs (Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cubs, StL, etc.). He had no reason to leave Tennessee for another college job or a crappy MLB job, no matter how much he and Danny disliked each other.

Hate to put it on one player 11 games into the season, especially since Kim hasn't played and Ronnie has done zilch. But if Riley isn't going to be a 120-130 wRC+, I'm not sure how far this team can go.

Only 11 games into the season, so SSS applies, but so far Dubon's underlying stats are very good. The hard hit rates and EVs would represent career highs by a significant margin. We should have a pretty good indication by the end of April if the improvements in these areas are legit.

He's not .900 OPS hitter, obviously. But if the improvements are real, he could potentially be a .750 OPS hitter. And with his excellent defense, that would make him a ~4 fWAR SS.

If he doesn’t strike out another batter in a Braves uniform you’re still hilariously wrong

So do the people a favor, take your L and move along
how bout no lol

crown yall regular season goat and I’ll hit ya up when he can once again pitch the day after the season ends (if he even makes it that long) (he won’t)
