It's hard to beat the same team twice in a season (see OM/UGA, OU/Bama) but Indiana, in terms of how they are coached and prepared, seems like a higher caliber of team than any of those this year.

In the 12-team era, this year's Indiana team is the only team with a bye who has won their first game.

A lot of universities are letting young players walk this portal cycle because they’re collecting money on the sidelines, despite being talented, so they can use that $ for proven commodities that help immediately.

Only the elite high school kids will be taken by the big schools before too long. It’s not worth the $ and effort to develop someone who is about to leave.

I think this will make coaching simplified across the nation as well since kids will sparingly grow in a system.

If the system stays that way, then sure. I would be willing to bet it gets fixed quickly and stops the portal from being the mess it currently is. Contracts, or something like it, will be coming.
