There are numerous SEC QB's I would take over Joey. It's possible to be thankful for Joey and also want to move on.

And you would be foolish to do so.

6th best offense in college football while only having 2 months to learn the play book and 1 month of practice. And the rushing attack was super mediocre. Joey is the primary reason the offense was elite this year.

I don’t disagree that safety needs to be addressed but choosing to prioritize safety over QB is asinine.

They ALREADY prioritzed QB. They brought in the best one!

Next years schedule is pretty brutal. I’m not totally comfortable throwing Faizon in the meat grinder just yet. And George sucks man. He is not the one. So unless we can upgrade in the portal I’m totally fine throwin Joey out to sink or swim.

Unfortunately I have time today!

I agree about JA. QB room is very expensive next year with Faizon and GMac alone. Joey would absolutely demand a raise. I think it would be tough to build a roster with that much tied up in a room where only one plays. Unless we found oil on Peyton Manning Pass recently.

I feel we are trying to be fairly frugal with our money. We’ve got some extra to juice to play with but aren’t trying to spend like a kid who just got their parents credit card, if that makes sense. That’s also why we cooled on Atkinson. Can I buy this and should I buy this are totally different questions.
